Apple announced a new line-up of iMacs today with speeds of up to 1 Ghz. The new update crosses the threshold into the 1 Ghz sector for mac consumers. The new line-up also features some new updates from Macworld SF such as Airport Extreme and built-in Bluetooth. Firewire 800 is not present in the new models of iMac and probably will not be for a good while according to sources. The new iMac starts at $1299 for the low end 800 Mhz with 60 Gig HD and 15 inch Display as well as a combo drive. The high-end model features a 1 Ghz G4 as well as Superdrive and 80 Gig. HD.
