| Macworld CreativePro Expo brings new software |

| On Wednesday, Greg Joswiak delivered the keynote for the Macworld CreativePro expo. Greg was no Jobs but did bring a little more to the keynote than some expected, he announced Soundtrack, essentially a standalone piece of software encompassing the audio features and effects of Final Cut Pro for a fraction of the price. Soundtrack will be available in August for $299 (U.S.). Greg Joswiak also announced new incentive plans for those thinking about switching from Adobe Premiere to Final Cut Express or Final Cut Pro. Adobe Premiere customers can trade in their Premiere for a copy of Final Cut Express or get half-off a copy of Final Cut Pro. We'll try to get our hands on a copy of Soundtrack when it comes out in August to do an in-depth review. |
