| Macworld CreativePro Expo starts tomorrow |

Contributed on Sunday, July 13th, 2003
| The new CreativePro expo which has lost much of its prestige since it replaced Macworld New York, kicks off tomorrow without much of a bang. The new conference has not brought much attention this year because of its notable loss of a keynote by Steve Jobs as well as the general thought that no new product announcements will be made by Apple in wake of WWDC 2003. So, what is the difference between the ol' Macworld and the new? The new expo is aimed mainly at educational workshops and less at new product releases and features a downsized exhibition hall. So, who has replaced Jobs? Greg Joswiak, Apple's Vice President of Hardware Product Marketing will take the podium along with other software and hardware execs and hopefully make the conference as worthwhile as it once was. So, does this mean no new products? With the rumor pipeline not spewing anything new, we'll have to wait and see. |
